INSPIRATION - ARMY
The word army conjures up pictures of strong, fit, lean bodies in khaki uniforms that command respect. Every detail on the uniform tells a story and takes
you back in time. The layering of fabric in monochrome colours, large lapels, boots and epaulettes portray a strong personality. The Khaki colour uniforms
with details in metal gives a masculine, robust and rugged effect. The uniform creates a sense of pride in the mind of the person wearing it.
Khaki - Persian word “khak,” which means earth, dust or ashes.
DESCRIPTION
If you like the tough, androgynous appeal of army attire with simplicity at its core, Gurkha is your perfect companion. Its dark khaki green colour
with antique finish hardware details brings in the army inspired touch with a versatile design. It is made in soft grained leather with a double flap.
A small pocket in front, held by a concealed magnet in a suede flap gives you easy access to your change or frequently used small products
and a zip under the grained leather flap of the bag keeps your essentials safe. The strap rests comfortably on the shoulder and is adjustable
to two lengths depending on your preference.
Gurkha is a bag inspired from the attire of soldiers during world war II. This military inspired bag has a play of contrast of strong structure in soft leather. The choice of grained leather gives a raw and tough yet earthy look to the bag. The sides of the bag are an interpretation of epaulette detailing on uniforms. This detail adds sturdiness to the bag. The silhouette is contemporary keeping real life usability in mind. It is an interpretation of classic military pieces with an appearance which is both feminine and accessible.
